Kids In Charge

KIC-logoWho: 3rd – 5th graders.

What: This is a drug and alcohol awareness program that helps our children put themselves in charge of their decisions. The materials guide them through the choices they’ll be faced with in the coming years and the consequences they may face for not remaining in charge of their bodies and their decisions.

When: Starts in October. Check schedules for exact education dates.

Where: In the classrooms.

Why: To help empower our students with information and self-confidence to help them make the right choices.

How: We need volunteers to present the materials (all created and organized for you!) to the students. Please see the volunteer signup below.

$ – This program is put on free of charge.

Tips: Use this opportunity to talk to your kids about drugs and alcohol. Let them know that they can come to you for answers to questions.
